1 1/2 Pounds Lean Ground Lamb, Twice Grounded
1 Large Onion, Chopped
2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
1 Teaspoon Red Hot Pepper Flakes
1/2 Tablespoon Ground Dried Basil
1 Teaspoon Fresh Ground Cumin
Large Pinch Cinnamon
3 Cloves Garlic, Minced
4 Tablespoons Chili Powder
1 Teaspoon Dried Oregano
1 1/2 Teaspoons Cocoa Powder
1 Teaspoon Granulated Sugar
2 Bay Leafs
Table Salt
Fresh Cracked Pepper Medley
1 Can Diced Tomatoes, With Juice
3 Large Cans Red Beans, With Juice

Cooking Directions:
In a large pot or skillet, fry up the onions with the ground lamb in the oil over medium high heat. When the lamb is browned add in all herbs, spices and garlic, cook on high for 2 minutes. After 2 minutes stir in the can tomatoes and beans along with there juices. Bring pot to a rolling boil, reduce heat to medium low and simmer uncooked for 15-20 minutes. Beans will cook better if soaked for at least 30 minutes before use.
